My glorious work space; I really ought to get another monitor just to have videos on. Welp, off to dinner/learning self defense!
I sort of spent today (yesterday?) being a derp and seeing what the best ways to get lighting effects were.
I also really wanted to redo this. Also the compression quality sucks asdfghjkl. And I still can’t draw hands digitally lkjhgfdsa.
I’m probably going to redo the Panty and Stocking one to match (and sell those old prints for cheaper?) I just have no idea what to do with the bg.
I should be working on other things…
I might be incapable of drawing ‘normal’ MLP fanart.
Reworking an old piece from last year. Originally painted (and not finished) in oils, I took a photo and now painting it digitally. Using Raphael’s painting “Madonna of the Meadow” I’m depicting Krishna and his brother Balram with their foster mother Yasoda. So much surface that needs to be reworked… and I still need to paint Krishna’s flute back in.
I also inadvertently made her look like my mother. Oh well.
One day I will finish an entry for this contest. To day is not that day. Because I’m dumb. orz
Sorry no step 2 but it’s the same as Song. Drew this back in August, cleaned up with tracing paper and added details, then flipped for anatomy check. His feet are still off. You can see I changed her feet but I think I need to rotate her lower body a bit.
More work on BoNaPa… Bolin’s arms are now significantly shorter and more proportioned overall. I’m not sure how I like Naga’s front paws coming forward like that but we’ll see. Also Pabu… hmmm.
